The Process
How It Works, Step by Step
From the first phone call to active services, here's what your family can expect.
We'll Reach Out
After a referral is made, one of our team members will call you within 24-48 hours to introduce ourselves, answer questions, and schedule a time that works for your family.
We understand you may not know who we are yet — and that's okay. We'll explain everything clearly.
We Come to You
Services happen in your home, your community, or wherever your family is most comfortable. You don't need to come to an office. We meet you where you are.
Our clinicians are flexible with scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
Getting to Know Your Family
During the first few sessions, we'll spend time understanding your family's strengths, challenges, and goals. There's no rushing. We listen first.
We'll work with you to create a plan that feels right — this is a partnership, not a prescription.
Working Together
Once we start, your clinician, behavioral assistant, or mentor will work with your family consistently. You'll set goals together, build skills, and celebrate progress along the way.
You can always ask questions, raise concerns, or change direction. This is your family's journey.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Don't see your question here? Contact us — we're happy to help.
How long do services typically last?
It depends on your family's needs and goals. Some families work with us for a few months, others for longer. We'll check in regularly and make sure services continue only as long as they're helpful.
Do I get to choose my clinician?
We carefully match your family with a clinician based on your needs, location, language, and preferences. If the match doesn't feel right, tell us — we'll find someone who does.
What if my child doesn't want to participate?
That's completely normal, especially at first. Our team is experienced at building trust with reluctant youth. We go at your child's pace and find ways to connect that feel comfortable.
Is this the same as traditional therapy?
Our services are similar to therapy but delivered in your home and community rather than an office. This means we see your family in real-life situations and can work on skills where they actually matter.
Can I still see my regular doctor or therapist?
Absolutely. We coordinate with your other providers to make sure everyone is working together toward the same goals.
