Intensive In-Community Services (IIC)
Intensive In-Community Services are the cornerstone of our approach to mental health care. These flexible, multi-purpose services are designed to provide clinical support where and when it's needed most.
What are IIC Services?
- In-home and community-based clinical support
- Tailored to parents, caregivers, guardians, and children/youth with behavioral and emotional needs
- Flexible scheduling to provide support at the most effective times
- Family-driven treatment based on comprehensive, individualized plans
Our Goals
Through IIC Services, we aim to:
1. Strengthen and stabilize the family unit
2. Preserve the family within their community setting
3. Stabilize behaviors that led to crisis
4. Prevent or reduce the need for inpatient hospitalization
5. Avoid changes in the child/youth's residence
6. Prevent out-of-home living arrangements
What We Offer
Our IIC Services include a range of interventions, such as:
- Individual and family therapy
- Clinical consultation and evaluation
- Child/youth behavioral management
- Family counseling and psycho-education
We also support transitions from intensive treatment settings back to the community, with the goal of gradually reducing the intensity of treatment over time.
Behavioral Assistance Services (BA)
Behavioral Assistance Services complement our IIC offerings, providing targeted support for specific behavioral challenges.
What are BA Services?
- Outcome-oriented services designed to augment other mental health treatments
- Dynamic interventions targeting specific behaviors that interfere with a child/youth's functioning
- Based on individualized treatment plans prepared by licensed clinical practitioners
Our Approach
We apply positive behavioral principles within the community, using culturally based norms to:
- Foster adaptive outcomes
- Enhance child/youth behavior
- Develop and strengthen skills
Expected Outcomes
Our BA interventions aim to create sustainable positive behavioral changes that improve functioning across various life domains, including:
- Interpersonal relationships
- Social interaction
- Behavioral conduct
- Development of effective coping skills for both the child/youth and their primary caregiver
Like our IIC Services, BA Services are designed to provide support when it's most needed and when families are most receptive to intervention and skills training.
